I loved learning that Junot Diaz finishes books on the edge of his bath tub.
The Guardian reports that J.K. Rowling’s The Casual Vacancy is topping the charts at 124,000 in the first week but will never sell like Harry’s millions on opening week alone. Also found it very enlightening to hear about actual sales numbers for the next bestselling book “Bernard Cornwell’s 1356, which sold 12,231.”
